You sign-up for a subscription and receive a delivery of fresh, local produce weekly or scheduled as you prefer. Your credit card is charged upon initial sign-up for your first week and then every Friday at midnight going forward. If you put your delivery on hold before Friday midnight the week prior to delivery, your credit card will not be charged.
Here's what to do when you go to pick-up your FarmShare:
It is easy to manage your account online. If you are going out of town or simply have too much food and want to skip your next delivery, you can put a future box on hold by going to your account and clicking on the calendar day you wish to hold. All holds must be placed by 72 hours before your box is delivered-- that means Sunday night for Wednesday deliveries, Monday night for Thursday deliveries, and Tuesday night for Friday and Saturday deliveries.
Re-using our boxes helps keep our overhead low, which translates into keeping our prices low for you. In order to do this effectively, the boxes need to be broken down and returned. We encourage our members to bring their own bag when they pick up their box and to leave the box at the site. It is equally important to open them and break them down properly so that they remain in good condition. Unfortunately opening them and breaking them down are not intuitive and they have a tendency to get ripped in the process, making them unusable for the next time. Going out of town? If you don't want your share on a particular week, login to your account and place your order on hold. We must receive your request by Friday midnight, in order to hold your delivery and to prevent your credit card from being charged.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept cancellations at the last-minute. One option is to have a friend pick up your box to try us out for a week!
You can cancel your subscription at any time if you pay weekly. We do not offer refunds if you have made a single payment for a season or for the year.
To cancel your subscription, simply login to your account and go to "Change/Modify Subscription". From here, click "cancel subscription". A subscription cannot be canceled while an order is in progress so you will have to cancel once you have received your box and prior to the next deadline for changes.
Our new online shop features automatic payment for weekly subscriptions, so you will not need to renew. If you make a single payment for a season or a year, you will get a notice when it's time to renew. If your credit or debit card has expired of has insufficient funds available for payment, you will also get a renewal notice from us. If you get a notice like this, please update your credit card information as soon as possible or let us know if you would like to cancel your subscription!
